Our Beliefs
BE THE CHURCH. Protect the environment. Care for the poor. Forgive often. Reject racism. Fight for the powerless. Share earthly and spiritual resources. Embrace diversity. Love God. Enjoy this life.
We don’t “go to church” at Pilgrim; rather, we worship each week to pause, reflect on our faith, and see how it intersects with the needs of the world. We reflect on the ways we can love ourselves, our neighbor, and creation. “God so loved the world,” and so do we. This ideal forms our ministries and the ways we interact with one another and with our community outside the walls of the building. We are called to Be the Church.
Pilgrim Congregational Church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. We identify with and follow Progressive Christianity.
