Position: Office Manager
Position Description: Under direct supervision by the Minister, the Office Manager provides administrative support to the minister, church leadership, church volunteers and congregants to maintain the administrative function of the organization. This position requires flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work with a variety of people, including other staff, volunteer leadership and church members and friends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology of today. The ideal candidate will maintain privacy, and be sensitive to the needs of individuals. We wish to greet all we meet as we would welcome God.
Duties:

Maintain member/visitor data, and create church directory as needed

Compile submissions from church leadership teams, edit and send weekly e-blast, and monthly e-newsletter

The layout, printing and preparation of weekly worship bulletin

Maintain and update calendars: including on-line Google Calendar, Master Church calendar, and Employee calendar

Submit employee time-sheets to the church Treasurer twice/month, after approval by the Minister

Coordinate facility use

Resupply/Order worship and other church needs as requested by Janitor, Ministry Co-Coordinators, or Minister

Perform secretarial tasks as directed

Communicate and coordinate tasks when necessary with Web
Administrator and Social Media Coordinator

There will be other seasonal Administrative tasks, such as bulk mailings, maintaining large project lists and financial information, as well as other items that may arise. Other duties as assigned
Skills Desired:

Proficiency moving between traditional and on-line environments

Proficiency and/or comfort with Google Office Suite

Highly communicative and able to work with a variety of people.

Desired Qualifications:

At least two years of prior experience working in an office environment.

Good writing skills and strong attention to detail.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently to prioritize tasks.
